“During our twenties, we are truly just trying to figure everything out, and we cast wide nets, sometimes hoping for something to stick. Or we cast nets hoping for the surprise of something new because even with everything planned out, we still aren’t sure, and we’re young. Things can change if we want them to.”
The Mature Plant:
“I believe I had planted some seeds and shared parts of myself with others relentlessly and with the expectation that my time was now. I was entering into this new age, ready to make waves. I once heard a pastor say, “If there is no one around you benefitting from The Fruit in your life, then you have none. Fruit is meant to be consumed.””
“ My faith had produced a level of maturity and fruit that said not this time.”
“We also have to give ourselves grace and love for each version of ourselves.”
